Malaysia VegFest 9.0 is 24 to 27 September 2026 at Centre Court, The Curve, Mutiara Damansara. VEG-HUB, the organiser, has been posting the same block of facts on Instagram since vendor applications opened in June: Thursday to Sunday, 10am to 10pm, free entry. The Curve is in Petaling Jaya. You do not need a KL hotel booking to eat there.
What the booths are actually selling
VEG-HUB's September posts break the floor into fresh food and desserts, personal care and cosmetics, health and wellness products and services, cooking demos, talks, workshops, music, and brand awards. Named drop-ins so far include Fam Superfoods with homemade probiotics and turmeric shots, and Meatless Jack with heat-and-eat soy rice meals, noodles, and mock meat that the brand says uses coconut milk, cornstarch, sauces, and spices, no fridge needed except for the mock meat in a freezer. VickedGood has used earlier VegFests as a launch pad. Those are examples, not the full map. The vendor form was still circulating in July with a note that the last ten booths were going.
VEG-HUB is a Malaysian plant-based platform started by Gulshan Rai after she got tired of hunting vegetarian meals across apps. The company behind it is Meatless Solution Sdn Bhd. Earlier KL editions sat at NU Sentral and, in April 2026, VegFest 8.0 at Paradigm Mall PJ. Edition 9.0 moving to The Curve puts the festival next to IKEA Damansara and IPC, which is a different crowd from a KL Sentral transfer. Free entry matters. You can walk the court, eat one plate, and leave without a ticket queue.
How to do Centre Court without wasting a Saturday
The Curve's Centre Court is the same floor used for seasonal markets. Expect slow walking, not a seated food hall. Go early on Thursday or Friday if you want to talk to founders. Weekends will be families from Mutiara Damansara and SS2. Mutiara Damansara MRT on the Kajang Line is the station. The Curve is a short covered walk from IPC if you are already at IKEA. Parking fills when the court is programmed. Grab to the main entrance is cleaner than circling the deck for 20 minutes.
You do not have to be vegan. VEG-HUB's own copy says come curious. That is the honest pitch. If you want a full meal, pick one hot stall and one dessert stall instead of grazing eight samples and feeling grim on the MRT home. Personal-care booths will try to sell you a bottle. That is the trade. Cash and QR both work at these fairs. Ask about ingredients if you have a soy or gluten limit. Mock meat is still processed food.
After 27 September
VEG-HUB's site remains the delivery and mart layer when the booths come down. The Curve will go back to its usual tenant mix. If you like a stall, follow that brand, not only the festival hashtag. The next edition will likely hop malls again. For this month, the dates are 24 to 27 September, 10am to 10pm, Centre Court only.
