Cos-Mic 2026 is in the building this weekend at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre. 11 to 13 September, 10am to 10pm, fifth anniversary of the creator and cosplay gathering. Sunway Pyramid's own events page is still listing it as ongoing. Tickets are on Ticket2U under organiser DBS Asia Management. Early bird three-day passes were RM50, capped at 5,000. After that the three-day bundle goes to RM70 and a single day is RM35. Kids under 12 enter free with on-site check.
This is not a mall atrium meet-and-greet. SPCC sits on top of Sunway Pyramid in Bandar Sunway, Petaling Jaya. You can do the convention hall and still drop into the mall for food. You cannot treat it as a free walkthrough. One ticket, one person. Ticket2U says collect on the day with the QR email. No refunds, no resale.
What the hall is for
Cos-Mic is a creator, performer, and guest-heavy weekend, not a comic-fair flea market only. The official copy is thin on named guests. That is normal for this organiser until the hall doors open. Go for the floor, the stage, and the costume density. Skip it if you wanted a quiet Saturday at The Curve. Parking in the Pyramid and Theme Park piles will be ugly by noon on Saturday. BRT Sunway-Setia Jaya to the mall, or Grab from KJ Line Kelana Jaya, is saner.
The same mall is also running Once Upon A Moon, a Common Market mooncake bazaar on LG2 Orange Concourse until 20 September, and a Tan Chong car roadshow on LG2 Central Avenue through 13 September. You can stack a Cos-Mic morning with a mooncake walk. You cannot stack it with a relaxed lunch at the Oasis unless you leave the hall before 1pm.
Tickets and the boring rules
Bring the confirmation mail. Security can search bags. No third-party tickets. If you bought a three-day pass, you still re-enter with the same QR each day. Under-12 free sounds generous until the hall hits capacity. Have IC ready. The early bird 5,000 cap is the number that mattered in August. By 12 September you are on standard pricing unless you already hold a pass.
I would go on Friday if I hate queues, Saturday if I want the costume peak, Sunday if I only have a half day. Pair with the BRT, not the car park. Eat in the mall. The convention centre will sell you fried food at convention prices.
Sunway Pyramid's events calendar is crowded this fortnight. Malaysia in Motion in the Orange Atrium runs to 20 September. That is a mall campaign, not a ticketed hall. Cos-Mic is the one that needs a QR. Do not mix them up at the information counter. SPCC has its own lifts and its own bag check. Budget 15 minutes from the BRT stop to the hall door once you are inside the mall.
