Typical Tourist. or not
It used to be good, but the Japanese chef has moved to Pavilion. Since then, the quality has dropped significantly. My most recent visit was even worse, it didn't feel like eating Japanese food anymore, more like a low-quality economic rice …

We had the 6 course meal for 45-48 RM and every course was delicious however, I cannot rate the special sesame tofu high enough. Service is on point with attentive but not over bearing staff. Can't wait to go back!

Very friendly and welcoming staffs. We went for the pork set and ordered yakisoba as well. Truly one of a kind gourmet experience being seated in front of their kitchen. Easily crowded during lunch/dinner time. Personally love their seared …

3 words. Nothing is good. Food - Everything tastes bad - yakisoba, Okonomiyaki and beef (can’t rmb the name of this dish) I ordered yakisoba add-on chicken. The “add-on” chicken cost rm5 extra. And it’s literally a joke. It served with 3 pieces of chicken on the top. Thinking there might be more underneath so I started digging and that’s all I can find (another photo with chicken on the side) Service - Only 3 tables of customer, but can’t see any staff around, we were waiting for someone to refill the tea. Ended up we have to bring it to the counter. That’s fine, the thing is, they just left them on the counter and we have to go get ourselves as no one brings them to us. Table next to us left before we started eating, and the dirty dishes still remain untouched when we finished our meal. I’ve worked in restaurants before. It’s really not that busy at the time I dined in. Worst RM130+ I’ve spent in awhile.

Slow service and mediocre food at a high price. We had the pork set and a pork okonomiyaki, with several add-ons. The okonomiyaki was good, but at RM50 (after add ons), the portion was still extremely small, and I remained hungry afterward. …
