Michellin starred menu and it does show, although on the budget side. Scallops, uni, were all fresh. The ocean bowl was very balanced in flavour, highlight the fresh fish. The one let down was the watermelon and rose cake. I expected a sort …

Came for late brunch. Asked for a window table but those were either 'reserved' or occupied. Ended sitting behind a Malay group who either did not understand the concept of quiet luxury, manners or respect, making so much noise n inconveniences to us n other diners. The fact that the servers did not try to calm them down costed this place a star, coz the atmosphere, servicd level, decor n price were on the higher side of the spectrum. Other than that, service attention, food n ambience were excellent.. the orders came quite fast, both plates n our dishes were warm/hot as opposed to some reviews that said the food were cold etc. The servers were attentive n as we ate, more patrons came in but still there were many table available. Taste wise, my unagi dish was above average in terms of presentation, portion n taste.. I quite liked it while my wife did say the broth was a bit less thick than the menu picture, portion n taste wise were acceptable. Our desert, the watermelon cake was the highlight here as it had so many things going n not too sweet to boot. Though the watermelon itself was not sweet at all, the overall cake layers made up for it n we savoured the dish rather quickly. overall, really recommended dining place, fitting the image of Pavillion, serving unique, high level n interesting experience.

First time trying the food here. If you look at the menu, you could be discouraged by the prices but that's quality you are buying and biting into. If you are trying for the first time and want to try all or most of the food in one sitting, …

Very cozy and the food is excellent. The Engawa Don and Unagi Ikura Donabe are good and portion are big also. Recommended for gathering and family outing.

Each and every item I ordered was presented excellently and tasted delicious. Service was impeccable and efficient. Staff were very attentive and immediately knew when to serve desserts without needing me to wave to get their attention. Truly worth the time coming here. Will definitely visit again to try different menu items!

We had the engawa don, truffles fries and watermelon + mint. Food was good, portion big. Ambience is good. Waiters need to be more attentive to customers as the time we dined was 4pm ++ there were not many tables yet so hard to place order.
